My Story

I did not set out to become an author.

Long before God's Love Letters was ever written, I simply loved studying Scripture. What began as a desire to understand the Bible more deeply eventually led me to Biblical Hebrew, where I discovered a richness that transformed the way I read God's Word.

Hebrew became more than a language

For more than a decade, I have had the privilege of teaching Biblical Hebrew, helping students engage Scripture through its original language, historical context, and literary beauty.

Yet over the years, I realized that Hebrew was never the destination.

It was a doorway that continually pointed me back to the heart of God.

Then life changed

Moving from Malaysia to the United States brought me into one of the most difficult seasons of my life. Far from family, lifelong friends, and everything familiar, I found myself learning to depend on God in ways I never had before.

Looking back, I now see that God was preparing something I could not yet understand.

God rewrote the book before I finished writing it

For years, God's Love Letters had been primarily a Hebrew teaching resource. During that wilderness season, God reshaped the manuscript.

What had once focused mainly on information slowly became an invitation to relationship.

It was there that Heart Connection was born.

My prayer today

Today, my desire remains the same as when I first began teaching: to help others discover the beauty of God's Word and draw nearer to the God who speaks through it.

Whether through books, teaching, or future resources, my prayer is that every person who visits here will leave with a greater love for Scripture and a deeper desire to know the One who gave it.

Shalom,

Veronica N-Khavah
